The MENIX CMS is a custom-designed system, specially oriented towards easy and quick web-programming, that is, efficient work with the web. Its' main purpose is to substantially diminish the effort requiered from programmers when building a site. That is achieved by a well-organised structure and carefully constructed modules and templates that on the one hand separate the graphical interface from the structural functions and code snippets, and on the other hand provide the programmer with a highly standardised skeleton structure to work with on such tasks as: adding modules and templates (manual programming), building objects deriving from the correspondent template and module (semi-automated programming) eg. adding news posts with a minimum effort. Later versions are likely to also provide highly automated database management and many more modules than currently under construction. Furthermore, the entire structure takes security issues seriously into consideration as well, hiding as much vital-internal information as possible from the common user.
