ISU Monitor provides lightweight server monitoring for Linux systems. It monitors a variety of system metrics and sends alerts via email, AOL Instant Message (using aimd) or text messsage when parameters fall below thresholds that you define. The current version, 0.9.3, provides monitoring for CPU Utilization and Load, Filesystem Usage, Logfiles, Swap and Physical Memory, Network Packets Sent/Received, Processes, and URLs. Easy install, run one script. History is maintained for each parameter in graph form and all configuration is done via the web interface. The new version of ISU includes a tabbed, skinnable user-interface, 2 data-collection methods, better looking graphs and a 'one-script' install. The overall result is a quick and clean monitor for your Linux box.
