OrderSys was developed in a research laboratory at an academic institution. Members of the laboratory use the system through a web browser to store details on items that are being ordered. Such details include price, catalog number, vendor details, etc., and they help in saving time when the same items are reordered later. Items can be chosen for ordering, whereupon an order form is generated for handing over to the ordering personnel. The script can be customized easily with some knowledge of PHP and MySQL.
